Hanna Conway is an American journalist who serves as a traffic reporter at 5 Eyewitness News in Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area.
In 2017, Conway won a Colorado Broadcaster Association award for her work at KRDO-TV (channel 13). Hanna was the first American journalist to arrive at the Brussels Airport bombing scene. She also did other field coverage from her phone.

Conway attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. At Mizzou, she was part of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Conway served as master of ceremonies at graduation. While in college, she was a news intern at KARE 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota from May 2015 to October 2015. She was also a lab assistant at Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism in Mizzou. In her role, Conway worked during the inaugural year of the prestigious documentary school, assisted students in checking out equipment, and kept it clean.
In January 2016, Conway became an international news intern at Thomson Reuters in Brussels Area, Belgium. She produced stories that were sent out on the international feed and picked up by stations and interviewed politicians, among other roles. From May 2016, she served as a CBS Radio intern. At CBS, she shot videos for the CBS sales department and created promotional concepts. She also interacted with clients and the public at many different events and concerts.
From May to August 2016, Conway served as an intern for Twin Cities Live at KSTP-TV in Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area. She later served as a news reporter, producer, and anchor for KBIA 91.3 FM in Columbia, Missouri Area. She anchored cut-in radio segments for the nightly newscasts and produced radio news stories. From November 2013, Conway served as a reporter, anchor, and digital producer for KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW until May 2017. There, she anchored the nightly newscast and solo anchored the noon newscast, produced and anchored cut-in segments during the Today Show.

Conway served as a news assistant for CNN in Greater Atlanta Area. In her role, she created a newscast alongside top industry producers, directors, and technical operators. She is also in front of the camera as a talent for CNN Español promo ads and CNN.com. Conway ran teleprompter and coordinated scripts for three major networks, CNN, CNN International, and HLN.
As an official start in her broadcasting career, Hanna served as a morning traffic anchor, fill-in anchor, and reporter at KRDO-AM/FM/TV, KRDO.com, and Telemundo in Colorado Springs, Colorado from October 2017 until March 2021. In March 2021, She moved to KARE 11 in Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area where she served as a reporter until August 2021.
