How To Reach Sites Of Grace Fast
Resting points called Sites of Grace allow your character to rest and recover in Elden Ring, which can be extremely important as you explore the hostile Gravesite Plain map in the Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC. The Land of Shadow hosts many dangers from the start as you enter a new region separated from the main game. Discovering Grace can help you explore by becoming landmarks to travel between.
Nearly 100 or more Sites of Grace are located in the five regions that make up the Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC. While some Sites in the Gravesite Plains are easy to reach, others like Charo's Hidden Grave in Elden Ring are difficult to find due to environmental obstacles. Remember to explore areas carefully and follow paths until they end since these routes typically have one or more Grace Sites.

Unveil The Region While Looking For Grace

Before you even consider tracking down any hidden Sites of Grace, try to find the region map that reveals the entire area of the Gravesite Plains. This will give you a better idea of which landmarks might have Grace Sites or what hazards you may encounter while searching for one. The less disoriented you are while exploring, the easier it will be to find Grace among the many hills, mountains, cities, and other important locations.
Go northeast to the Scorched Ruins area to spot a small pillar made of stone with glowing gold text on it. The familiar glow of an item can be seen at the base of this structure, so interact with it to pick up the object. This is the Gravesite Plain Map that encompasses one of the largest sections of Shadow Of The Erdtree's massive world map. Other maps for regions like Scadu Altus or Rauh Ruins can be found similarly in different areas.
Sites of Grace in Gravesite Plain and across the DLC function very closely to those you unlock throughout the base game of Elden Ring. However, Grace Sites in the DLC also allow your character to gain Shadow Realm Blessings in exchange for Scadutree Fragments found on the new maps. These Blessings help make your character stronger for the many challenging bosses ahead.
Shadow Of The Erdtree Sites of Grace also allows you to buff the properties of your favorite Spirit Ashes with Revered Spirit Ashes, another item you can collect as you explore new regions.

Leave No Stone Unturned In The Starting Region
In total, there are 37 Sites of Grace in the Gravesite Plains for you to discover. While some signify the start of a new area with defined enemies and paths, others represent a point of rest before an important boss fight. For example, the Belurat, Tower Settlement Site of Grace is right next to the arena where you fight the Divine Beast Dancing Lion in Elden Ring, the first major boss of the Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC.
As you can see in the above video by YouTube creator PowerPyx, some Sites of Grace are categorized by what sub-area they are in. For example, the Fissure Cross Grace Site is within the larger Stone Coffin Fissure area within the Gravesite Plain region. Use the landmarks that organize each Site of Grace to help you find ones close to a central resting spot in a more important section of your map.

Although you may find a hidden item or two off the beaten path, stay on roads or go through obvious routes in buildings to find the most Sites of Grace quickly. Defeating a dungeon or location boss will usually reveal a new Grace Site for your character to rest at after a long fight. Despite the changes in Shadow Of The Erdtree, there are constant facts about Elden Ring you can still expect.
Most of the Grace Sites you can discover are either in places you have to ascend or descend to reach. When climbing cliff ledges, be prepared to take some fall damage along the way as you leap between various platforms. Keep in mind that resting at a Site of Grace will not only restore your character's health but also give them all their healing resources back that you may have used to travel to the Grace.
Some areas have Spiritsprings that your horse, Torrent, can use to leap much higher in the air, allowing you to reach seemingly impossibly high regions. However, in Shadow Of The Erdtree, many jetstreams are hidden until you break a nearby rock cairn to unlock the flowing air from the ground. Don't forget to use this hidden mechanic in Elden Ring to open up every possible route towards a Grace Site.
Thankfully, once you find Grace, you will not have to worry about surrounding enemies in an area attacking you since their spawns reset. Those who find every Site of Grace in the Gravesite Plain region of Elden Ring's Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC will be able to travel freely between each spot, making it much easier to explore the new map.
